September 2022: Two Nysmith Students Named In Broadcom MASTERS

Sixth grader Wyatt S. and  Babiha B., Class of 2022, have both been named among the country’s top 300 Broadcom MASTERS in a program of the Society for Science. Both of their submissions were selected from close to 2,000 entries.

Wyatt’s project (Carbon Captured? Can Basalt Eclipse Limestone as the Standard in Vegetable Farming?) and Babiha’s (Covid Vision) earned both students a spot in the Sept. 21 Broadcom MASTERS competition at which 30 finalists will be chosen. Those selected will move on to the finals.
