June 2021: Nysmith 6th Graders Secure 4th Place Finish at World Robotics Competition
Nysmith sixth graders Giovanni Eastman, Arjun Nayyar, and Max Ritter competed in the VEX Robotics Live Remote World Championship, along with over 1,600 other teams from 30 countries across the world. The “Savage Bots” brought home the Elementary School VEX IQ Technology A Division Championship in dominating fashion, and followed up that effort with a 4th place finish in the World Finals Championship. What a tremendous accomplishment after a long year of hard work – we are proud of you!
