Nysmith’s CyberPatriot teams made an outstanding debut this past weekend, competing in their first-ever competition and achieving an impressive 4th place finish in the state for the Middle School Division. This is a remarkable accomplishment for a brand-new program and reflects the dedication and hard work of our students.

Nysmith Team 1, “Cyber Castles,” featuring Maks H., Jackson H., Lincoln W., Nathaniel H., and Sebastian Z., led the way with their 4th place finish, demonstrating strong cybersecurity knowledge and problem-solving skills in a highly competitive environment. Nysmith Team 2, featuring George W., Altan K., and Rishik K., also performed admirably, earning a 10th place finish while gaining valuable experience in their first competition.

CyberPatriot challenges students to think critically, work collaboratively, and apply real-world cybersecurity concepts under pressure. We are incredibly proud of both teams for their focus, perseverance, and success in launching what promises to be an exciting new program at Nysmith.
