
March 2025 – Nysmith Team Wins 2nd Place at Harvard Forensics Tournament
Debate Team Secures 2nd at Harvard National Invitational
Congratulations to Manvik C. and Ronald H. for their remarkable 2nd place finish in the Middle School Public Forum Division at the Harvard National Invitational Forensics Tournament! Competing against over 200 teams in one of the largest and most prestigious high school speech and debate tournaments in the country, they demonstrated exceptional argumentation, critical thinking, and poise.
This achievement marks a historic milestone for Nysmith, as it is the first time our school has placed in the top two at Harvard. Their success is a testament to their dedication, preparation, and skill in high-level debate competition.
We are incredibly proud of Manvik and Ronald for this groundbreaking accomplishment and look forward to seeing their continued success in future tournaments!
