Nysmith students showcased their literary knowledge and critical thinking skills at the Kids Lit Competition held at Longfellow Middle School, delivering impressive performances across multiple grade levels.

• The 7th Grade Team, featuring Thomas C., Nathan K., and Kevin P., earned a third-place finish, demonstrating their strong command of literature and teamwork.
• The 5th/6th Grade Team, featuring Aalia K., Emi N., Matthew N., and Eden R., won first place, securing a spot at the National Competition in Hartford, Connecticut, on January 29th!
