January 2022: 8th Grader Makes National Honor Roll After Top 10 Finish in Noetic Learning Math Contest
Madeline Blizzard earned entry into the National Honor Roll based on her performance in the Noetic Math contest in which she scored in the top 10% of more than 23,000 participants. The Noetic Learning Math Contest (NLMC) is a semiannual problem-solving contest for elementary and middle school students that requires children to solve 20 problems in 45 minutes or less.
The NLMC challenges students in grades 2-8 to develop problem-solving skills and techniques to help them become stronger mathematicians and better thinkers while preparing them for more advanced STEM learning and research. The goals of the contest include encouraging student’s interest in math and inspiring them to excel in mastering the various mathematical problems and principles.
