February 2025 – Nysmith Students Headed To South Africa For Worlds Literature Competition

The Nysmith 5th/6th Grade Kids Literature Team has achieved an incredible milestone, winning the U.S. Finals in Hartford, Connecticut! Team members Aalia K. , Eden R. , Emi N., and Matthew N. showcased their exceptional literary knowledge and critical thinking skills, securing the national title.
With this victory, the team has earned the prestigious opportunity to represent the United States in the International Competition in South Africa this summer. Competing on the global stage is a remarkable achievement, and we are beyond proud of their dedication, teamwork, and passion for literature.
Congratulations to Aalia, Eden, Emi, and Matthew on this extraordinary accomplishment—we can’t wait to cheer you on as you take Nysmith to the international level!
