Congratulations to the members of the Nysmith Math Kangaroo Club for their outstanding performance in the 2025 Math Kangaroo Competition, a national mathematics contest that challenges students with complex, creative problem-solving.

This year, 10 Nysmith students placed in the top 25% of the nation for their grade level: Lailah M., Nishank S., Anna X., Lucas L., Rishik D., Saad M., Nicholas K., Eden R., Alexander Y., and Marcus N. An additional four students—Leo K., Vali G., Peter K., and Sarai S.—earned recognition in the top 25% of the state, bringing our total state-level honorees to 14.

We also applaud every student who participated in this rigorous competition. Their hard work, growth, and enthusiasm reflect the spirit of curiosity and perseverance we strive to foster every day at Nysmith.
