September 2021: 7th Grader Qualifies for National World Robot Olympiad

Building and programming a robot using Lego EV3 and other Lego parts to perform missions on a 4 x 6 mission-specific mat is no easy task, but 7th Grader Ishaan S. did exactly that to earn himself a trip to Silicon Valley to compete in the World Robot Olympiad (WRO) later this year.

The WRO mission is to help students age 8-19 develop their creativity and problem-solving skills in a fun, engaging competition held in more than 85 countries. This year’s theme is “PowerBots” and participants match their skills in four categories, all designed to promote robotics in STEM education worldwide.
