March 2024: Success At Second Potomac School Public Forum Tournament

Our Nysmith debate teams delivered an outstanding performance at the Potomac School Middle School Public Forum Tournament, securing top finishes across multiple divisions! Their exceptional argumentation, critical thinking, and teamwork led to a dominant showing in the competition.

In the Open Division, Ronald H. and Manvik C. took first place, demonstrating their expertise in constructing compelling cases and engaging in high-level debate. Yuvan A. and Prithvi P. secured second place, while Om K. and Sricharan S. earned third place, rounding out an impressive podium sweep for Nysmith.

In the Novice Division, Kevin P. and Hamood O. claimed first place, proving their ability to craft persuasive arguments and think on their feet. Their success highlights the strength of our debate program and the dedication of our students to mastering the art of public speaking.
