January 2024: 3rd Place At Potomac School VEX IQ Competition
This past weekend, Matthew B., Edward C., Alex E., and Toby K. showcased their incredible robotics skills at the Potomac School’s VEX IQ Competition, earning third place overall and taking home the prestigious Excellence Award! Their outstanding performance has also secured them a spot in the state competition, marking a major milestone in their robotics journey.
The Excellence Award is the highest honor given at the tournament, recognizing a team that excels in all aspects of VEX IQ—robot performance, engineering design, teamwork, and professionalism. Their ability to problem-solve, collaborate, and refine their robot’s capabilities made them stand out among a competitive field.
We are incredibly proud of their hard work, innovation, and dedication. Congratulations to our team on this fantastic achievement—best of luck at states!
