7th Grader wins second place at Thomas Jefferson High School
Congratulations to 7th grader Aria S. for earning 2nd place in the 7th and 8th grade division at the prestigious TJHSST Invitational Science Fair! Her project, Teaching Machines To See and Learn Human Expressions With High Accuracy, impressed judges with its creativity, complexity, and real-world application. We’re so proud of Aria’s innovation and dedication to exploring the intersection of technology and human behavior!
Hosted by Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology—one of the top-ranked STEM schools in the country—the annual Invitational Science Fair brings together outstanding middle school students from across the region to present their research to expert judges. Aria’s recognition among such a talented field is a true testament to her hard work and passion for science.
